UPLB’s 100% passing rate in RND board exam remains unbroken

UPLB has 124 new registered nutritionist-dietitians (RND)!

This latest batch of RNDs have preserved what predecessors have consistently accomplished since 2008: an unbroken 100% passing rate record.

This is not the only piece of good news for the University from the results of the August 2017 Nutritionist-Dietitian Licensure Examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission.

UPLB also shares the number one spot in the elite list of top-performing schools with another perfect scorer, UP Diliman. Top-performing schools are those with at least 80% passing percentage out of 50 or more examinees.

Two UPLB alumni, both members of Class 2017, made it to the top ten, too. They are John Eric Bruan Sulit (90.75%) at second place and Kathryn Anne Tapan Malabanan (88.80%) at tenth place. Sulit, magna cum laude, was the top graduate of the College of Human Ecology this year.

The national passing rate is 71.62%, with 916 passers out of 1,279 who took the exam nationwide. (Mark Jayson E. Gloria, with reports from www.prc.gov.ph)
